Senior Product Designer · Product systems · Delivery

I make complex products clear.

Senior Product Designer with 10 years across fintech, mobile and games. I turn regulated, system-heavy products into clear decisions, then stay through prototyping, implementation and QA.

Making margin trading readable
for people who have never traded.

Leveraged access to global stocks, ETFs, commodities and indices, through a regulated platform. For a first-time trader the category reads as a wall of charts, tickers and percentages.

50K market discovery: popular instruments, a watchlist and a live chart
TradingThousands of instruments are organised into clear categories, with the key information visible at a glance. Users can expand a chart for any instrument to explore price movement across their preferred timeframe and view.
50K order entry for a Tesla position: required margin as the headline, position value and share count, the likely profit or loss, the funds check and More Options, above the confirm button
Buy / SellThe most critical screen in the app is designed to keep the decision focused. The required margin takes centre stage, while position value, margin and number of shares stay connected and update together as the user adjusts the trade.
50K radar: market movers, indices and a market-news card
ExploreExplore gives users a clear view of what is moving in the market throughout the trading day. It brings together relevant market activity, price changes and context — without telling users what to buy or sell.

For four years I have been the designer on all of it: the trading app, the marketing site, the internal admin tools and the design system underneath. Most of it came down to what to show, when, and saying plainly what a trade would cost before someone confirmed it.

Show consequence before commitment

Margin, exposure and likely profit or loss update while the amount can still be changed — not in a confirmation dialog once the decision is already made.

02

One question at a time

Registration and suitability became single-question steps, each saying why it is needed and how much is left. Progress stays visible, and finishing a step is acknowledged.

SmallHeroes

Personalised children's books · Hebrew · גיבורים קטנים

Case study in progress

A parent pays for a book
that doesn't exist yet.

Resilience storybooks in Hebrew. A parent picks the situation, adds a few details and can add a photo. Their child becomes the hero of a story about the thing they're actually struggling with.

An open SmallHeroes book: Yuval and her mother at the clinic door with Buni the bunny beside them, and the Hebrew story text on the facing page

A spread from a finished book: Yuval's clinic visit, with Buni. Illustrated in Hebrew, right to left, with the same child on every page.

The story leaves the child with a few small steps the companion took in the book. I lead the product, UX, visual system, story rules, pricing, reader and delivery, and review everything before it reaches a parent.

The main product challenge is trust: the parent pays before the personalised book exists.

01

Trust before payment

Samples, timings and promises reflect what the system can reliably produce. Waiting, retries and human review are designed states, so the parent always knows what happens next.

02

No child gets rejected by a form

No photo is rejected for skin tone, lighting, sharpness or face size. Only a genuinely unreadable file is turned away. You can continue without one, warned that the hero may not resemble your child.

03

The same child on every page

One strong illustration is not enough. The child, companion and world have to hold across the whole book, and a person approves it before delivery.

Earlier work

Where the rest of it came from.

Games taught me visual systems, motion and 3D. Fintech taught me what happens when a screen is unclear and it costs somebody money.

Invest

Long-term investing · Mobile

Take one of the plans, or build the portfolio yourself.

More on Invest

Choose a ready-made plan, or build your own portfolio from individual instruments and decide how much goes into each one. The app projected the portfolio forward and supported both one-off and monthly deposits.

I worked on Invest from the beginning: defining the flows, designing the UI, launching it and maintaining it afterwards.

This is where 50K started. After about a year and a half the company changed direction — from investing held for the long term to trading held for hours — and the same team carried the work into the margin-trading platform.

TOKast

Short-form podcast app · iOS & Android

Podcasts cut down to minutes, in a feed built for one thumb and one pair of headphones.

More on TOKast

I designed UX and UI for three social and content products at 12Tech. The one that broke out was TOKast, where the sound design and the audio interactions carry most of the experience, and the interface has to get out of the way. Playback, discovery, creator profiles and the whole listening loop.

It launched with a roster of well-known Israeli creators and journalists, so it had to feel finished on day one rather than beta.

Ready Steady Games

Indie games, mobile and PC

Head of design in practice: art direction and UX/UI at the same time, across the studio's titles.

More on Ready Steady Games

I ran the visual direction and the interface across the studio's games: environments, effects, characters in-scene, and the whole look of each title, built with the developers rather than handed to them.

Heavy in-engine Unity work. I built and QA-ed the UI myself instead of describing it, which is the fastest way to find out that a layout only works in Figma. Two days a week plus evenings, as a partner in the studio.

Phantom Beasts – Redemption is still on Steam — characters, environments, effects and UI. View it on Steam.

United Legends

Competitive card-battler

Every country gets its legendary hero, and that hero is a card and a unit on the board.

More on United Legends

I started here as a 3D generalist, in what was effectively a character factory: concept, modelling in Maya, rigging, texturing, animation, lighting and render, then into Unity. Dozens of heroes and environments, all of which had to read at thumbnail size on a phone and still hold up as key art.

In the last year I moved to UI artist and led a visual overhaul that lifted the whole game a level: progression, economy, the arena meta and the shop. It shut down anyway; it never made enough money. That's the part I'd want to talk about, because the work was good and the outcome still wasn't.

About

How I got here.

I came to product design through games and 3D. That background still shapes how I approach hierarchy, motion and visual systems.

Over time the experience around the visuals interested me more than the visuals alone. For the past four years I have been the designer at a CySEC-regulated fintech: first on Invest, a long-term investing app, then on 50K, the margin trading platform the company turned into — across its app, internal tools, marketing surfaces and design system.

I work close to implementation: prototyping in HTML and CSS, refining production UI and QA-ing what ships. I use coding and generation tools where they accelerate the work, but I own the brief, the testing and the final decision. That is how SmallHeroes gets built: I lead the product and the experience, and review everything before it reaches the page.

I've also led a small design team, and mentored a designer moving from marketing into product design.
